Looking for a safe, sound, uncomplicated, and smooth ride? Star is for you. He is an easy going 9 yr old gelding that has seen it all. Trail rides in town for coffee and with arena work, he’s ready and game. Star’s jog is extremely smooth and a pleasure to ride. He can lope circles and side pass. Star knows his leads and is responsive to the leg but very tolerant, making him suitable for a variety of riders. If you have ever dreamed of competing in the show world, Star would make an excellent choice. Star has nice confirmation, along with a beautiful crest, and would be sure to get the judge’s attention. He will stand quietly in a halter, making him an excellent jr. horse as well. We could see Star making a great youth mount for trail and English under saddle division with his happy, willing attitude. Star crosses logs, goes through water, is use to dogs, unhinged kids, Nanny the goat, tractors, and all the other activities at Silvercrest. Trailering is no concern to Star. He loves his baths and being groomed. He stands great for the farrier, and he is currently barefoot and has nice round hooves. Star is quiet in his stall and loves turnouts with other horses. He is easy to catch and just an overall good horse. Star is up to date on his spring vaccines and ready for his new Home. He is 14.3 hands tall and is GVHS Registered.
